Hydrogel Dressing is composed of complex hydrophyllic polymers with a high 90% water content. Hydrogels are designed to hydrate wounds and are available in sheets,amorphous gel, and sheet hydrogel-impregnated dressings. Hydrogels provide a moist wound environment for cell migration and absorb a small amount of exudates. They have a marked cooling and soothing effect on skin.
